Patch 0.1.1
It appears that not even a few hours after publishing the game, there are already game-breaking bugs. But, after a lot of tinkering, it's fixed! Along with this are some more bug fixes and balancing updates. I'm not actually expecting a single soul to read this, it's more here for documentations sake. But if you are here, congratulations! You aren't awarded anything for reading this.
Nightmare Defender 0.1.1 changelog:
BUGS:
-Fixed a bug where returning to the menu crashes the game
-Underling, Turret, and Scout animations now play
-Shooting a bullet into a wall no longer causes the sound to restart every physics process
-Cards are no longer preserved between games
-Fixed a bug that caused card drop chances to be slightly less accurate
BALANCING CHANGES:
-Scouts deal less damage (3 > 2)
-Scouts drop cards more often (15% > 20%)
-Turrets are faster (1 > 3)
-Turrets deal more damage upon contact with the player (10 > 15)
-Turrets are more likely to drop a card upon death (40% > 55%)
-Copycats are far more likely to drop a card upon death (25% > 75%)
-The spread of the Copycat's gun has been significantly increased (0.1 > 3.5)
-Giant Hand's speed decreased (15 > 10)
-Giant Hand's gun has significantly more spread (10 > 15)
MISC:
-Moved a teddy bear enemies were frequently getting stuck on
-Moved a set of coloured blocks enemies were frequently getting stuck on
-The current version number is now visible on the main menu
the best part of all this is none of you know what the enemies names are so youre probably super confused lol
